There are two types of Auto-Insert Images: Easy and Advanced. Both of these automatically insert images from the selected image library into the current Photo Album.

Easy Auto-Insert Images allows you to quickly insert an entire image library into a photo album. Each image will be centred within the frame in a Best Fit approach.

1. To Auto-Insert Images from the Edit Albums page, choose the Auto-Insert Images button.

2. Choose an image library you want to auto-insert.

3. Click Place Images into my Photo Album.

A progress indicator will display as your images are inserted. Once complete, the Auto-Insert Images dialogue box will close, and return you to the Edit My Photo Albums page.

Advanced Auto-Insert Images provides you with more options to customise how you insert an entire image library into a photo album.

1. To Auto-Insert Images from the Edit Albums page, choose the Auto-Insert Images button.

2. Check the Advanced checkbox to reveal more options.

3. Choose an image library you want to auto-insert. Selecting All Image Libraries will fill the available pages from all of your image libraries that have images.

4. To specify the first page and last page you want to insert images into, use the two Insert From Page drop down menus. They are automatically set to First Empty Page and the Last Page of your current Photo Album.

5. Replace Existing Images overwrites any images you may already have put into your album. Uncheck this option if you do not want to replace any existing images.

6. Best Fit and Optimise alters your irregular shaped images as they are inserted into your Album to give you the best results. An irregular image described here as more than one and a half times its height compared to its width. e.g. 100w x 150h. Choosing Centre & Trim, most images will display well inside your album.

7. When your Image shape is different to the Photo Album frame: gives you three options to choose that will help you automatically fit irregular shaped images into your photo album frame.

(i) Don't Fit or Trim: Places an image at the top left corner of an image frame, at the same size it was uploaded into your image library.

(ii) Fit to Frame (Letterbox): Places the irregular shaped image to match either the Width or Height of an image frame.

(iii) Centre and Trim: Places the irregular shaped image to match either the Width or Height of the frame, and also trims (crops) any part of an image that remains outside an image frame.

8. Click Place Images into my Photo Album.

A progress indicator will display as your images are inserted. Once complete, the Auto-Insert Images dialogue box will close, and return you to the Edit My Photo Albums page.
