Photo Album Wizard can optimise your images on-the-fly,
as they are being uploaded. Optimising reduces the image
dimensions and quality to a size that is more useful for
creating Photo Albums.
By default, the optimise setting produces images with a
maximum width of 600 pixels,
and an maximum image quality
of 80%.
Advanced users can transform the width and quality of the
images to their own settings.
Resize: You can set
the maximum image width, in pixels, that will be uploaded.
Images larger than this, will be optimised to match this
width setting. Most photo albums image frames are between
300-600 pixels in width.
Note: The maximum
available width setting is restricted to 999 pixels.
Optimise(%): You can
set the maximum quality of any images tha will be uploaded.
Images will be optoimised to the percentage (%) value
you enter.
Note:
80% quality is a good balance between retaining the details
in the image, and reducing the file size.
Less than 70%, and JPG and GIF images become distorted,
and blurry.
100% is no compression, and will upload at original file
size.
